BUILD STRENGTH & RESILIENCE
THROUGH HOPE AND RESILIENCE COUNSELLING SUPPORT
Are you at a point in your life where you’d like to talk to someone? Perhaps you have specific issues, or perhaps you simply feel low in spirits. Perhaps you are very stressed and/or depressed.
My counselling practice is called ‘Hope and Resilience Counselling’ because I believe that, despite our struggles, there is always hope and that circumstances can improve.
I also believe that human beings are more resilient than they realise.
It is often through talking with someone, in a private and safe space, that the journey to greater emotional and mental well-being can begin. As a counsellor I offer the time and space for talking, listening, reflecting, working out ways forward and unlocking resilience and hope.
The areas I offer counselling in are depression, grief, anxiety, anger and stress. These are experiences that can affect any person, at any stage of his or her life. My role is to help my client explore what is going on, and why and what can happen to bring about positive change and life-nurturing outcomes.
If you are interested, please contact me for an Introductory conversation.
CAN HOPE AND RESILIENCE COUNSELLING HELP YOU?
My focus with clients is to help them identify their strengths - strengths they may have used in the past to overcome crises.
I will support them to build on those strengths, to be resilient and find hope for their future.

There is nothing wrong with feeling angry. It's all about how we deal with that anger.
What is it we are afraid of? Is life throwing up challenges we don’t feel we have the resources to cope with?
Where do those dark thoughts come from?
Dealing with loss - it may be the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, the loss of our health. We can grieve when a pet passes away.
You can come by yourself. You can come as a couple. You can come as a family and work at it together as a team.
It seems we are increasingly expected to do more with less. How do we work out what's important and what's not? What's realistic and what's not?
