Manage and reduce stress

Work is the single activity occupying most people’s waking time.  It is sad and alarming that according to workforce studies, nearly half of the world’s employees (48%) are dissatisfied in their jobs.  Pressures, strains, and stresses within the workplace have been identified as having a huge impact on health – physically and psychologically.  Despite this, there seems to be a prevailing attitude in some organisations, that “if you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.”  Together we can look at strategies for self-care and avoiding burnout, and where possible, countering unrealistic expectations and setting boundaries.
